These are my core design values, and I strive to incorporate them into all of the work I do. I am driven by curiosity and a desire to understand user needs deeply. To me, great design is about creating solutions that are not only functional but also delightful and inspiring. Collaboration and continuous learning are central to my approach, and I find great satisfaction in developing ideas together with others. My goal is to design solutions that address real challenges while leaving a positive and lasting impact on users and the world around us.

Background

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design from NTNU and a master’s in design from AHO. With empathy as a cornerstone of my process, I strive to understand and address user needs through thoughtful and intuitive solutions. My background spans the entire design process—from research and ideation to prototyping and testing—using tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, and Miro. This combination of technical skills, curiosity, and a user-centered mindset enables me to create meaningful designs that positively impact users’ lives.

Handelsbanken

Role /    UX-Designer
Place /    AHO, Oslo

In my work on enhancing the Handelsbanken app, I focused on improving the clarity and modernity of the user interface, which had not been updated in over a decade. By redesigning the layout of account and card overviews with increased spacing and modern visual elements, I aimed to provide users with a more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing experience. Utilizing wireframes and strategic information division, I organized content into easily digestible modules, facilitating user comprehension and navigation. Streamlining the navigation bar and incorporating rounded corners further contributed to a visually cohesive and user-friendly design, ensuring efficient decision-making and an enhanced user experience.

In my project for YR, I crafted a delightful weather app tailored for children, ensuring it delivers essential weather details in a playful manner. Through vivid colors and charming 3D symbols, the interface engages children while keeping information clear. Notably, the app allows children to personalize their avatars, reflecting suggested outfits based on the weather at their chosen location. Additional feature include simplified navigation for intuitive usability. Ultimately, the project aimed to blend functionality with enjoyment, providing personalized weather updates and fashion advice for young users.

In collaboration with my bonus mother, Christina, I crafted a visual identity and developed various design proposals to encapsulate her essence as a Gestalt coach on her website. Through our joint effort, we aimed to authentically communicate her personality, coaching style, and offered services to potential clients. By infusing warmth, presence, and a touch of nature into the design, we sought to resonate with individuals seeking personal growth and support in navigating life's challenges. This project exemplifies my capacity to engage in empathetic design processes and effectively translate abstract concepts into tangible and user-centric experiences.

Simplifying Navigation for Major Events. For Ski NM 2023, we developed a user-friendly website to help students navigate large events effortlessly. Through user research, testing, and co-creation, we created an intuitive platform with easy access to schedules, services, maps, and tickets. The site features a clear navigation menu, interactive maps with transport integration, and a seamless ticketing solution via Tikkio. Designed with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and a smooth user experience, the platform was refined through prototyping and iterative design.

Enhancing Pre-Hospital Decision Support with Video Technology. In collaboration with Sykehuset Innlandet HF, we developed a prototype for a video communication system to support paramedics in critical situations. By connecting paramedics with specialists through mobile and fixed video solutions, the system improves pre-hospital decision-making, enabling faster diagnoses and more efficient treatment.

The design process followed an iterative approach, incorporating gamestorming, interviews, and user testing to ensure usability in high-stress environments. Key features include real-time camera views, quick access to patient records, heat-sensitive imaging, and customizable settings. With a clean, distraction-free interface and intuitive navigation, the system enhances emergency response while maintaining accessibility for all users.
